Is SafeTap accepted by Environmental Health Officers?
Yes. SafeTap is a digital replacement for the FSA’s Safer Food, Better Business (SFBB) paper pack. Digital due-diligence records are accepted by Environmental Health Officers across the UK.
How much does SafeTap cost?
SafeTap is £15 per month for each site, with unlimited everyday use. You start with a 15-day free trial — no card needed to look around.
Do I need new hardware?
No. SafeTap runs on the phones and tablets you already have — iPhone, iPad and Android phones and tablets. Mount a tablet in the kitchen for a shared checklist if you like.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Walk-in fridges and busy kitchens lose signal — SafeTap saves your checks on the device and syncs automatically when you’re back online.
How many staff can I add?
On the free trial you can add 1 manager and 1 staff member. On a paid plan each site supports up to 5 managers and 25 staff.
Where is my data stored?
All SafeTap data is hosted in London (eu-west-2) on UK infrastructure, in line with UK GDPR. You can export or delete your data on request.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Manage or cancel your subscription from the secure Stripe billing portal at any time. There is no long contract.
